Six people joined Syncline this spring
Support, engineering and documentation all grew between February and May. The team is now 34 people across nine countries, and we are still hiring one role at a time.

Six people have joined since February, which is the largest amount of hiring we have done in one quarter. Support gained three: Dana Okonjo and Ilse Brandt in Berlin and Rafael Costa in Lisbon, which puts a support person on shift for nineteen hours out of every twenty four on weekdays. That was the single most common request in last year customer survey, and it is now true.

On the engineering side, Yuki Tanabe joined the connectors team and has already rewritten how we page through large Airtable bases, and Priya Ramnath joined the platform team to work on the flow runner queue. Marguerite Adeyemi joined as our first full time technical writer and is going through the help center article by article, starting with the twelve most read pages.

That takes us to 34 people across nine countries. We are remote by default with two gatherings a year, and everyone works from wherever they already lived when they applied. There is no headquarters to relocate to, and the Providence address on our invoices is a small office three people use because they like it.

Our hiring stays deliberately slow. We open one role, run it to a decision, then decide whether the next one is still the right role, which is why the careers page rarely lists more than two openings at once. Right now it lists a solutions engineer and a second technical writer. Both are remote, both take about three weeks from first call to offer, and both involve a paid exercise instead of a whiteboard.
