Syncline opens a Frankfurt data region

European workspaces can now keep their run history, record payloads and connection tokens inside Germany. The region runs with Halden Cloud GmbH and costs nothing extra on any plan.

Syncline has a second data region, hosted in Frankfurt. New workspaces created from an address in the European Economic Area default to it, and any existing workspace can ask to move at no charge.

The region is operated with Halden Cloud GmbH, an infrastructure partner we have run staging workloads with since late 2024. They provide the compute, the managed database and the object storage; we run the flow engine and the API on top of it. The contract covers three availability zones inside Germany, and no part of a Frankfurt workspace is replicated outside them.

What lives in the region is everything a support question tends to touch: run history, the record payloads we hold for thirty days, encrypted connection tokens, uploaded files in transit between two apps, and workspace metadata such as flow names and member emails. Billing records stay in our United States region, because our payment processor is there, and the subprocessor table on the privacy page has been updated to say so.

Moving an existing workspace takes about twenty minutes and needs a short window with flows paused, so we schedule it with you rather than doing it silently. Run history from before the move is copied across; anything past the thirty day retention window is not, since it no longer exists on either side. Write to hello@syncline.topclb.com with your workspace name and we will book a slot.

A third region is under discussion for Sydney, most likely in the second half of the year. It depends on how many accounts ask for it, so if you need it, say so now and we will count you.
