How this flow works

Syncline watches Slack for File shared in a channel. When that happens it runs Upload an attachment in Airtable with the fields you mapped.

  1. Invite Syncline to the channels where documents land.
  2. Connect the Airtable base and choose the table with an attachment field.
  3. Map the file onto that field and the uploader onto a collaborator field.
  4. Share one test file, look at the row, then leave the flow watching.

How large a file can travel?
Airtable accepts a few hundred megabytes per attachment and Syncline streams the bytes rather than loading them into memory, so a long video still gets through.
Are files from private channels included?
Only if Syncline was invited to that channel by a member. We cannot see private conversations we are not part of.
