Turn Notion CRM rows into HubSpot contacts
The lightweight CRM your team built in Notion feeds the real one, with each row matched on email so the contact list stays countable.
How this flow works
Syncline watches Notion for New database item. When that happens it runs Create or update a contact in HubSpot with the fields you mapped.
- Share the Notion database that holds your leads and connect the HubSpot portal that should receive them.
- Point the flow at the property holding the email address, which is what HubSpot matches on.
- Map the remaining properties onto contact fields, including any custom ones from your portal.
- Create one test row, check the contact in HubSpot, then turn the flow on.
Field mapping
| From Notion | To HubSpot | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Title | First name | The row title carries the full name and Syncline splits it into given and family name before writing. |
| Status | Lifecycle stage | A select value such as Qualified is written onto the funnel stage, and an unknown option is reported rather than guessed. |
| Assignee | Owner | The Notion person becomes the HubSpot owner, matched on the email address behind the property. |
| Tags | Company | The tag holding the account name is written to Company, and HubSpot creates that company when it does not exist yet. |
Why teams run it
- Leads captured in a doc still reach the pipeline
- Matching on email means one contact, not three
- Sales sees the row within minutes of it being typed
Who uses it
A founder who started tracking leads in Notion and now has a sales hire who works in HubSpot.
About the two apps
Notion
Notion holds the pages and databases most teams treat as their second brain. Syncline reads those databases on a schedule and writes rows back, so a page never has to be retyped somewhere else.
HubSpot
HubSpot is the record of who your customers are and how far along they got. Syncline feeds it from the places leads actually arrive, and pushes deal changes back out to the team.
