Mirror Notion property changes into an Airtable base
Edit a property in Notion and the matching Airtable row picks up the change, so a reporting base never runs a week behind the workspace.
How this flow works
Syncline watches Notion for Page property updated. When that happens it runs Update a record in Airtable with the fields you mapped.
- Share the Notion database and pick the exact properties the flow should watch.
- Connect the Airtable base and choose the table holding the mirrored rows.
- Map each watched property onto its Airtable field and set the title as the match key.
- Change one property, confirm the row updated, then leave the flow running.
Field mapping
| From Notion | To Airtable | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Title | Record ID | The flow finds the row whose Name already matches the page title and reuses its record ID, so an edit never makes a second row. |
| Title | Name | The page name is written to the primary field, which Airtable requires on every row. |
| Status | Status | One select maps onto another, and an option missing from the base is reported instead of written blindly. |
| Assignee | Owner | The Notion person is matched to a base collaborator by email address. |
Why teams run it
- Reporting lives in Airtable while the work stays in Notion
- Property edits arrive without anyone retyping a row
- A missing select option is flagged, not silently written
Who uses it
An analyst who builds charts in Airtable from a content calendar the team keeps in Notion.
About the two apps
Notion
Notion holds the pages and databases most teams treat as their second brain. Syncline reads those databases on a schedule and writes rows back, so a page never has to be retyped somewhere else.
Airtable
Airtable is where teams build the tracker no off-the-shelf tool provides. Syncline keeps that base fed from your other apps and sends its rows onward when something changes.
