Create HubSpot contacts from new Airtable rows
A base that collects leads feeds the CRM directly, with each new row becoming a contact matched on email and carrying the owner and the value.
How this flow works
Syncline watches Airtable for New record in a table. When that happens it runs Create or update a contact in HubSpot with the fields you mapped.
- Connect the base and pick the table where leads are collected.
- Connect the HubSpot portal and approve the contacts scope.
- Map the email field onto the HubSpot match key, then map the rest.
- Add one test row, open the contact in HubSpot, then switch the flow on.
Field mapping
| From Airtable | To HubSpot | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Name | First name | The primary field holds the full name and Syncline splits it before writing, leaving the surname in its own field. |
| Status | Lifecycle stage | A row marked Qualified writes that stage, so marketing and sales see the same judgement. |
| Amount | Deal amount | The number on the row becomes the deal value, converted to the currency your portal is set to. |
| Owner | Owner | The base collaborator is matched to a HubSpot user by address, so the contact arrives assigned. |
Why teams run it
- Event lists and spreadsheets reach the CRM the same day
- Matching on email keeps the contact count meaningful
- The team that owns the base keeps working the way it likes
Who uses it
A field marketer who collects event leads in a base and needs sales to call them this week.
About the two apps
Airtable
Airtable is where teams build the tracker no off-the-shelf tool provides. Syncline keeps that base fed from your other apps and sends its rows onward when something changes.
HubSpot
HubSpot is the record of who your customers are and how far along they got. Syncline feeds it from the places leads actually arrive, and pushes deal changes back out to the team.
