Get your partner referral link
Apply, get approved, and generate a referral link in six steps. Includes campaign tags for telling your channels apart, a QR code for events, and where the clicks show up.
<h2>Who the program is for</h2><p>The partner program is built for consultants and agencies who set up automation for other companies. If you configure Syncline inside a client's account as part of your own work, you are the audience. If you simply want a discount on your own subscription, the program is the wrong door and support can help you with an annual plan instead.</p><p>Approval takes two working days on average. We look for a website that describes what you do and at least one live Syncline workspace, which can be your own.</p><h2>Apply and generate your link</h2><ol><li><strong>Open the Partners page and click Apply.</strong> Sign in with the account you want the program attached to, because the payout details follow that account.</li><li><strong>Fill in the application.</strong> Company name, website, the apps you specialise in and roughly how many clients you expect to onboard in a year. Two sentences is enough for the last one.</li><li><strong>Wait for approval.</strong> The decision arrives by email. Once approved, a Partner tab appears in your workspace navigation and stays there.</li><li><strong>Open Partner, then Links.</strong> Your default referral link is already generated and looks like a normal Syncline URL with a partner parameter on the end.</li><li><strong>Create a tagged link for each channel.</strong> Click <em>New link</em>, type a tag such as newsletter or clientdeck, and you get a second link that reports separately. Tags are your own labels and do not affect payout.</li><li><strong>Copy and share.</strong> The copy button gives you the plain URL. Beside it are a QR code for slides and events, and a short link for anywhere a long URL looks bad.</li></ol><blockquote><p>Note: never edit the partner parameter by hand. A link with a modified or misspelled code resolves to an ordinary signup with no partner attached, and there is no way to reattach it afterwards. Always copy the whole link from the Links page.</p></blockquote><h2>Which tag to use where</h2><table><thead><tr><th>Where you share it</th><th>Suggested tag</th><th>Why it helps</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Your services page</td><td>website</td><td>Shows whether the page converts at all</td></tr><tr><td>A client proposal deck</td><td>clientdeck</td><td>Separates warm referrals from cold traffic</td></tr><tr><td>Newsletter</td><td>newsletter plus the month</td><td>Lets you compare sends</td></tr><tr><td>Conference talk</td><td>event plus the event name</td><td>Pairs with the QR code on your last slide</td></tr><tr><td>A written guide or tutorial</td><td>guide plus the topic</td><td>Content keeps earning for months, so tag it well</td></tr></tbody></table><h3>Where the numbers appear</h3><p>The Partner dashboard shows clicks, signups, converted accounts and commission, broken down by tag. Clicks update within a minute. Signups appear as soon as the account is created, and a signup stays in a pending state until the account's first paid invoice, which is when commission starts.</p><p>If a client prefers to sign up themselves rather than through your link, ask them to enter your partner code on the billing screen during their first month. It produces the same result as a click, and it is recorded the same way.</p>
